Letter marked "Confidential" dated November 25, 1868 from James B. Scot to Josiah Drummond, Sovereign Grand Commander pertaining to the Frank J. Herron case which concerned a violation of the jurisdictional rights of the Grand Consistory of Louisiana. Scot reports on the special meeting held Nov. 24, 1868 further investigating the Herron affair. Contradictory statements previously delivered by Herron and D. M. Carr were examined, necessitating further investigation.
