Resolution between Supreme Council, AASR, NMJ and Prince Hall, NJ, which concerns the recognition of autonomous jurisdictions, but allowing fraternal visitation between organizations. Both copies are signed by Robert O. Ralston and Samuel Brogdon, Jr. and dated January 23, 1995. It also includes 3 color photographs of the signing occasion in the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library.

Abstract Leon Martin Abbott (1867-1932) was a prominent and influential Freemason, lawyer, and philanthropist. He was born on August 28, 1867, to Joseph Brown Abbott (1835-1892) and Lydia Cole Martin (1838-1893). Educated in Keene, New Hampshire, he attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and graduated from Harvard Law School in 1891. Abstract Melvin Maynard Johnson (1871-1957) was a prominent and influential Freemason, lawyer and academic. Johnson was born on May 11, 1871, in Waltham Massachusetts. He attended Tufts College and Boston University School of Law (BUSL). Following a successful career as an attorney, he returned to BUSL as a professor in 1918.
