Account book of the Gourgas family possibly belonged to John Mark Gourgas, II, an active lawyer 1832-1857 in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Two invitations for the Fourth of March Ball. One ball is at the Henry Bickford's House and the other is at Houdlett's Hall, in Dresden, Maine on March 4, 1857. The Invitation is for Alden Thayer and wife. Embossed design borders the front of the invitations.

Advertisement for Dickinson corn poppers and popcorn recipes. Cover depicts a boy pouring popcorn into a bowl and is titled, "Delicious and Healthful Popcorn Recipes." Pamphlet includes instructions on how to pop corn, 10 popcorn recipes, and advertisement for three corn poppers from the Albert Dickinson Co.

Birthday greeting card: "Doggone your old hide: Happy Birthday!". It is a brown card with illustration of puppy on piece of hide. Verso has inscription, "Lots of Love, Dot." It was manufactured by Rust Craft, Boston.
