Processing Information

The scrapbook pages were taken out of the original binding, with pages kept in order so as not to lose the context of the material the collector intended. Pages have not been altered, with items that have come loose placed in front of the scrapbook page where originally mounted by the collector. Initial processing placed the pages from scrapbook 1 into box 1, scrapbook 2 into box 2, etc., with the folders containing varying quantities of pages. At some point the boxes were condensed, without changing folder numbers (ie, Box 1 contains Folders 1-9 from Scrapbook 1 and Folders 1-4 from Scrapbook 2). Items are described based on page or item-level, with the page number noted under Extent. Contact the Archives department for the folder list from the initial processing.
