Collection of essays (facsimiles) of papers given at the Boston Area Seminar in Early American History which includes such topics as "Age of the First Person Singular...", "New England Ways: Two Taditions in American Puritanism?", "Relocating Ethnicity: Educating Pennsylvania's Germans in the Eighteenth Century", and many more. Most paper are focussed on eighteenth century American life.
