Biographical / Historical
The Knights of the Golden Eagle was founded in 1872 was a fraternal benefit society. Its ceremonial rites were founded on the history of the Crusades. Membership was limited to those who believed in a supreme being, were white, male, at least 18 years of age, free of mental or bodily handicaps, able to write and support himself, law-abiding citizen, of sound moral character, and a believer in the Christian faith. This organization no longer exists.
