Shrine certificate issued to Winthrop B. Wood by LuLu Temple of Philadelphia, PA, on June 8, 1927. There is an embossed gold seal of LuLu Temple lower edge of certificate and an engraving of the seal of Ancient Arabic Order, Imperial Council, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine.

Biographical / Historical
Winthrop B. Wood was born in Concord, Mass. on November 7, 1875, the son of James B. Wood and Ellen Smith Wood. He graduated from M.I.T. in 1898 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was employed by Metcalf Mills, Providence, R.I. and Joseph Bancroft & Sons, Wilmington, DE. He retired in 1930 and moved to Mount Vernon, New Hampshire. Wood died on September 10, 1959.
