We...titles...at the order of the Royal Secretary established in New York, U.S.A., under the title of the St. Trinity (Sainte Trinite) by constitutional patents of October 28, 1807, delivered by ...on the Island of St. Dominque, under the title of the Triple Units (triple unity) by patents of January 16 and April 9, 1801, transferred to Cuba, in view of the war and reinstalled on the latter island on August 24, 1806. Declare and certify to all brothers knights of Freemasonry on the surface of the earth, that we in a extraordinary assembly, the Sovereign President has given us a request addressed to our Sovereign Grand Coun-ci.1 and signed by Brothers... by the Royal Knights... and Sovereign Princes of Rose Croix who want to work towards the growth of the Royal Art in all its perfection, ask from our Grand Council to authorize them by constitutional patents to establish a Sovereign Chapter of Rose Croix called the Triple Alliance. Because of that and for other good reasons, considering that such an installation can only be good for the growth of the true Masonic principles and for the betterment of the initiations at this supreme degree that have been done without consideration for the decrees and general regulations of the order, putting the greatest trust in the zeal, fervor and knowledge in the Masonic art of these very dear brothers who in their request have nominated W. Mulligan as Very W1se Sovereign Master, Jacob Schieffelin as first warden and Subran as second warden. We authorize the named above to constitute and institute in this_______according to the actual constitution a Sovereign Chapter of the Princes of Rose Croix, under the distinctive title of Triple Alliance. We invite them especially to make sure that the rules and general regulations and particularities of the sublime Perfection and that the principles of the Royal Secretary be held and observed in the strictest manner, or suffer to be forfeited of the actual constitutions in case of breach to these laws, rules and regulations, to only accept in the Chapter true and legal Masons. They can chose their own dignitaries to help them govern the Chapter and they should be new elections once a year on the first, Thursday after Easter. We also give, in addition of the Chapter so constituted, the power to initiate free Masons of all degrees from the secret master, 4th degree to and including this 18th degree of Rose Croix, conforming to all laws, decrees and regulations with the obligation of giving us knowledge of their works once a year immediately after their elections.
