Scope and Contents
Letter dated July 9, 1868 from Albert Pike, Sovereign Grand Commander, Southern Masonic Jurisdiction to Joshiah H. Drummond, Sovereign Grand Commander, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction regarding the Frank J. Herron Case which concerned a violation of the jurisdictional rights of the Grand Consistory of Louisiana. In this letter, Albert Pike informs Drummond that Herron will be declared to have received his degrees unlawfully, and requests that Drummond will deal with the Chicago Consistory in this matter.
