Scope and Contents Blank 32° Scottish Rite certificate. The design is composed of an arched ribbon inscribed with the title "Universi Terrarum Orbus Architectonis per Gloriam Ingentis" (By the Glory of the Great Architect of the Universe). In the upper right hand corner, a pelican feeds her young with her blood (a symbol of the 18th Degree or Knights of the Rose Croix). An unissued or blank Master Mason certificate drawn and engraved by Amos Doolittle and created between 1797 and 1825. Imprint at the bottom of the certificate reads, "Drawn and engraved by Brother Amos Doolittle. Copy right secured. The above may be had of Brothrs. Saml. Maverick, N. York, Diploma of the 3rd DEG."
