The postcard is paperstock with printing in purple ink and a small pink envelope. Purple elk's head on the left and below is an advertisement for "Walk-Over Shoes" in Philadephia, Pennsylvania. On the left it states "The first pin ever worn by an Elk" with a small pink envelope below.

The passage next to the elk reads "The faults of our brothers we write on the sand their virtues upon the tablet of love and memory." The postcard requests that the 1911 Elks Grand Lodge Reunion be held in Atlantic City, declaring the city "The sunshine town where everybody laughs."
