Scope and Contents
This folder contains correspondence between Newbury and others about and with clandestine groups. The majority of the correspondence is on irregular African American Masonic organizations that are not reconginzed by Prince Hall Freemasonry. Of particular interest is the petition for recongition by the Supreme Council 33rd Degree Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite for the Atlantic Masonic Jurisdiction of the United States of America Grand Orient of Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands.
