Knights Templar (Masonic order)

Manuscript Ritual for York Rite degrees includes hand watercolored plates and pen and ink drawings throughout. It also includes ritual for all York Rite degrees (starts with Master Mark Mason), e.g. Select Master, Most Excellent Master, Knights Templar, Knights of Malta, etc.

The collection includes a membership card issued to Robert Allan Murray by the International Supreme Council Order of Demolay, Chula Vista Chapter, in 1965, two copies of a Christmas Observance program for the Asylum of Mount Tabor Commandery, No. 9, Knights Templar, in 1983, an 8x10 1983 Fall Ceremonial Class Picture with a printed page for captions; and a certificate issued by Tangier Temple of Omaha Nebraska to Robert A Murray II, in 1983.

At the bottom of the certificate is inscribed "Presented to Hudson River Lodge by Wor. Alex. D. McCann, Newburgh, N. Y. on May 17, 1893"

A collection of Masonic Relief Association certificates, Masonic officers list cards, Masonic death notices, Masonic summons, programs, manuscript letter concerning Masonic business (including several letters from Samuel C. Lawrence), statues, dedication programs. It includes Blue Lodge, Knights Templar, and Scottish Rite materials. Most of material from Springfield and western Massachusetts.

Scrapbook contains printing proofs made by W. N. Hughes containing over 100 Masonic calling cards collected by Hughes as well are many newspaper clippings and photographs of family and friends. The scrapbook begins with an index of his clients for his printing business.

This collection includes 2 membership cards, by-laws, a list of prospects, a petition, a Shrine Demonstration letter, and four programs. Material from Knights Templar, Shriners, Knights of Pythias, and Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen.
