A State Deputy Snark appointment certificate issued by Office of the Snark Universe to Vaughn H. McDowell. Dated November 16, 1955. Originating in 1892, the International Concatenated Order of Hoo-Hoo is one of the world's oldest service organizations, drawing its membership from individuals employed in all aspects of the forest products industry. The black cat, the adopted mascot of the Order, prominently adorns the certificate.
