Scope and Contents

The collection includes photographs and photocopies of newspaper clippings regarding the Masonic Memorial in Gettysburg, Penn. The photographs show the Masonic Memorial, which shows Captain Henry Bingham of the Union coming to the aid of his Masonic brother, General Lewis A. Armistead of the Confederacy. The sculptor is Ron Tunison of Cairo, New York. The photocopies of newspaper clippings report on the dedication ceremonies by the Masons.
