Abstract
The American History Project was started by Michael Uys and Lexy Lovell to research and document teenagers who travelled the United States during the Great Depression to find work or seek adventure. Many of these teenagers self identifed as "hobos." This collection documents the research and creation of the film, Riding the Rails, produced by Michael Uys and Lexy Lovell, and the companion book, Riding the Rails: Teenagers on the Move...
