Collection includes 11 black and white photographs of Scottish Rite classes for degrees 32 and 33, Irem Temple String Band, and a portrait of a man. Also included is a certificate issued to Jobie C. Davis by Irem Temple, dated 1977. The included portrait may be a photograph of Davis' father.
Jobs for Fighters poster, 1918
This poster depicts a soldier holding his “Honorable Discharge” as he crosses a welcome mat to the offices of the Bureau for Returning Soldiers and Sailors. The Bureau was created in 1919 and served returning veterans of the First World War. The poster was created by artist Gordon Grant for the United States Employment Service and printed by the Thomas-Ellis Company.
