Broadside, Twelfth National Convention National Christian Association: "Opposed to Secret Societies." Illustrated lectures on Masonry. Broadside proclaims "Freemasonry is a sworn conspiracy against the Christian religion degrading in its pagan ceremonies and a positive insult to common sense." Verso contains anti-Masonic quotations by John Quincy Adams, Daniel Webster, William H. Seward, Charles Sumner, and others.

Documents concerning Prince Hall organizations and other groups considered by the Supreme Council, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction to be clandestine. The bulk of the correspondence concerns N. N. Boozier and his claim to be Grand Master of King Solomon Lodge in Texas. Also includes court decrees regarding these claims.

In this letter to his brother and parents, Philip W. Miller, II, of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, describes his views on religion and justifies his decision to become a Freemason to his parents. Written while at Hillsboro, Illinois, and dated March 23, 1841. He also mentions that he is a Grand Master Mason in Hillsboro.

Scope and Contents Autograph letter signed by N. H. Hubbard to his brothers and sisters, four pages. Hubbard describes a Masonic funeral that he witnessed in Virginia, close to the North Carolina border. He explains that the Masons at the funeral "all stood in a ring again, and clapped their hands first over their heads, and then across the breast, then down at the side, repeating it 3 times." This "salute" is known as the public "grand honors." Hubbard also wrote that one Mason from each lodge threw a spade...

Uncle Sim gives a description of Anti-Masonic activities and politics in Boston sending and sends a packet of Anti-Masonic documents and tracts. Uncle Sim comments on Anti-Masonry and matters of the Legislature.
