Biographical / Historical

George A. Newbury was Sovereign Grand Commander, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry for the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of the U.S.A upon the death of Judge George Bushnell, September 29, 1965 and continued in this role until 1975. His major accomplishments include the establishment and building of the Scottish Rite Museum and Library in Lexington, MA, dedicated April 20, 1975.
