Manuscript membership certificate for William Pope given by St. John's Lodge, No.1, 28th Regiment of Foot, at Fortress Louisbourg, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, on 1759. It is signed by E. Huntingford, Master, W. Mulholland, Senior Warden, Michel Walsh, Junior Warden, and John Broadbelt, Secretary. A red wax seal is affixed in upper left hand corner of parchment.
