Biographical / Historical
John L. Stevenson was an Honorary member of the Supreme Council for the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, 33rd degree. He lived from 1833 to 1894. He married Ellen Bridge Hawkins in 1853. He worked in importing wine and liquor in Faneuil Square in Boston. He devoted 38 years of his life to Masonic service of all kinds.
