Biographical / Historical

John A. Lynn was born on September 13, 1861 in North Jackson, Ohio. He was one of eight children to Levi and Mary Moherman Lynn. He has worked in several industries such as farming, timber, school teacher, salesman, and insurance, in Cleveland. He was raised to Master Mason in National Lodge, No. 568, at Barberton, Ohio, on November 23, 1893. He transfered to Babcock Lodge on December 17, 1907. He was also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Forester, Knights of Pythias, Knights Templar, Grottoes of North America, and a Royal Arch Mason.
