Minute Book for Half Century Matrons Club, Order of Eastern Star, Prince Hall affiliation includes many topics: contact with the Urban League, cooperation with NAACP, fraternal invitations from Heroines of Jericho, Knights of the West, church of one of the members, Christmas dinner, controversy over whether to admit Past Patrons of OES, meeting with Masters and Wardens Association to raise funds for a Masonic Hall, their charity (assistance for under-resourced families at the local high school), contact with Welfare Department and more. There were no male members of this club as stated in their by-laws (no Past Patrons).
