Scope and Contents

Includes posters created by Canadian and United States government agencies and companies, all sizes. Topics include encouragement for military troops to keep up morale, for civilians to continue in the war effort to be more productive and less wasteful of materials, reminders to not share military information in fear of spies, and other propaganda messages for Allied powers during World War II, as well as Newsmaps. Some World War I era posters are included as well, though the bulk date from the 1940s.
