Certificate includes imagery of three columns and various Masonic tools, and has an attached embossed seal.

The certificate has a black wax seal on a ribbon woven through the paper, which has a red seal.

Master Mason certificate for Captain Daniel Stone, of Lodge No. 25, of Liverpool, issued by the Grand Lodge of England. The certificate has two women standing on pillars one on each side of the certificate, an angel above trumpeting, and a woman below with three children.

Biographical information written on verso of frame: Charles Barton (orignally Sanders) was the great uncle of original donor, Richard S. Sanders, who donated the certificate to the Acton Historical Society in 1968.
