Land grant issued to Charity Smith, widow of Needham Smith, private Captain in Bryon's company North Carolina Militia, War of 1812. It describes the tract of land located in LaCrosse, Wisconsin of eighty acres. Land grant refers to a warrant in which Charity Smith assigned rights to the land to John Lewis. Document signed by President James Buchanan on June 15, 1860.
