Real photo postcard of residents of the Pythian Home in Ogdensburg, New York. The women are seated in the front on a wicker bench: Elizabeth Lohr (age 77), Ardella Thomas (age 710), and Jennie Beattie (age 76). The men are standing behind the bench: Solman Appleboom (age 83), John Van Houghten (age 84), and Herman Schowartz (age 85). The name and ages of each person are listed on the back of the postcard.

The postcard is a real photo with an undivided back. It depicts the exterior of the Knights of Pythias Temple in Cambridge City, Indiana. The temple is large with circular rooms on the left and right corners of the building. There is a large awning in the front, facing the street. The building is constructed of stone or brick. There is an area on the front of the card for a note.
