Imprint at the bottom of the certificate reads, "Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1858 by Robert Macoy...Court of the United States for the Southern District of New York."

Knight Templar certificate issued to B.C. Root. The design is of two swords atop an arch which is supported by two columns. Two golden colored seals are affixed next to the left and right edges of the certificate next to the columns.

Certificate issued by the Knights Templars, William Parkman Commandery, East Boston, Massachusetts to Edward G. Graves. At the top of the certificate is a Christian cross with the Latin legend 'In Hoc Signo Vinces'. On the right and left sides are columns. On the base of each columns is affixed a seal of the Commandery.
