Master Mason certificate issued to Seth Fairchild by Prince of Wales Regiment Lodge, No. 535, 1783 August 29
A Master Mason certificate issued by Lodge No. 535 of Ancient Masons "held in the Prince of Wales American Regiment and on the Register of Ireland" to Seth Fairchild and dated August 29, 1783. The Prince of Wales American Volunteers were a Loyalist regiment who fought during the Revolutionary War. These volunteers left New York in September of 1783 and set out for Nova Scotia (modern-day New Brunswick).
