Letter from Allen Putnam to Alonzo Hall Quint. Dated November 16, 1863. In this letter, Allen Putnam, Alonzo Hall Quint's father-in-law, informs Quint of the birth of his son, Wilder Dwight Quint. Alonzo Hall Quint served as a Chaplain in the Second Regiment, Massachusetts Volunteers, and would have been stationed near Tullahoma, Tennessee, when he received this letter.
