Rebekah funeral services and notebook papers, 1909-2000
Scope and Contents
Envelope, with a postmark of August 25, 1982 from Mrs. Ethel Baatrup, Secretary of Rebekah Assembly of South Dakota to Ellen Hillman, Sec. of Lily Reb. Lodge No. 116, containing a notebook that records all of the Noble Grands and Secretaries of Lily Rebekah Lodge, No. 116, since the Lodge was organized in 1909 through 2000. Also included in the envelope are printed cards that contain the parts of the Rebekah funeral ceremony conducted by the Noble Grand and Chaplain, and a smaller envelope from Beryl Eberle, Sec'y of SD Rebekah Assembly, to Marie Johnson of Lily Rebekah, No. 116, with samples of stationery by the Frye Printing Company, and a receipt with a post-it note message attached.

Envelope also included a published booklet of the Rebekah Funeral Ceremony, I.O.O.F., published by the Sovereign Grand Lodge, I.O.O.F., adopted 1912. The manila envelope that contained these items was photocopied onto archival paper and then discarded. The items found within the envelope are in front of the copied pages.
