Master Mason certificate for Wilson D. Wing from Aconcagua Lodge, Valparaiso, Chile, 1872 August 29
Scope and Contents
Engraving has three Gothic style arches with Faith, Charity, and Hope below them. The lodge is sponsored by the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts. This certificate shows that Wilson D. Wing received the Master Mason (or 3rd) degree from Aconcagua Lodge on December 15, 1870 in Valparaiso, Chile. The certificate was signed on August 29, 1872. Lodge Master Jacob Caro and Grand Lodge of Massachusetts Grand Secretary Charles H. Titus both signed the certificate. Handwritten on the back in one corner is "Visited Harmony L / No. 1411 + was / cordially received / Valparaiso Aug. 2nd 92 / E.J. Gibbs Secr."
