Circular announces the choice of Grand Master Isaiah Thomas to be Past Master Benjamin Gleason for the position of Grand Lecturer and Instructor. The Masonic work in the local lodges had become full of errors and Gleason's job would be to go around to each local lodge and observe and make sure the lodge was following Masonic procedures according the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts
