Facsimile of charter. Charter has seal in top left corner. Bottom right corner reads: "Copyrighted by the Most Worshipful Prince Hall / Grand Lodge. F. and A. M., Boston, Mass, 1908." Below Image shows the seal of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge and reads: "Facsimile of African Lodge Charter, No. 459, F. & A. M. / Granted by the Grand Lodge of England, F. & A. M., September 29. 1784 / Issued by vote of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, F. & A. M., of / Massachusetts, at the Annual Communication, December 5, 1907" At right corner: with reproduction signatures: "Attest: M.W. Llyod Marshall G.M. / R.W. Andrew M. Bush P.G. M. / R.W. Robert T. Tearnoh D.G.M. / R.W. Frederic S. Monroe P.G.M., R.G.S. / Committee on Archives."
