Proxy, dated February 1, 1843 appointing John W. Bay to represent Robert Smith, Grand Senior Warden of Allen Grand Lodge of Perfection [Portsmouth, N.H.] at the next annual convention of the Grand Council of Princes of Jerusalem in Albany, New York. Engraving with Masonic symbols upper left corner includes columns, "G" over book with square and compass, sun, moon, and stars. Wax seal of the Allen Grand Lodge of Perfection lower right corner.
