Biographical / Historical

Engraved portrait of Dietrick Lamade, 33, honorary member Supreme Council, A.A.S.R., Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, from Pennsylvania. Birth date is February 6, 1859. Death date is October 9, 1938. He was born in Germany and became a naturalized American citizen. He was a printer and a general manager of Grit Publishing Co.. Lamade was awarded the Poor Richard Achievement Medal by Poor Richard Club, 1933 and presented with a Medal of Honor for distinguished service in journalism by University of Missouri School of Journalism, 1937.
