Biographical / Historical
Engraved portrait of George B. Wheeler, 33°, honorary member Supreme Council, A.A.S.R., Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, from Wisconsin. Birth date is Aug. 1, 1853. Death date is Jan. 22, 1943. George Wheeler graduated from Bowdoin College in 1874 and was the owner and editor of the Merrimac Journal, a weekly newspaper at Franklin, New Hampshire, from 1875-1880 and the Daily Leader at Bloomington, Illinois from 1880-1887.
