Biographical / Historical

Engraved portrait of Samuel H. Baynard, 33°, honorary member of Supreme Council, A.A.S.R., Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, from Delaware. Birth date is June 3, 1879. Death date is Sept. 9, 1947. Samuel Baynard graduated from Delaware College in 1900. He was admitted to the Bar in 1904. He researched and wrote the authoritative two volume work, History of the Supreme Council, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. For further biographical information, see Baynard, vol.
