Gift of Andrew S. Dibner, A2000/37/01
Several U. S. Food Administration posters were designed to appeal to parents and children. In this one, the message linked patriotism with cleaning your plate and eating non-wheat cereals. Another poster told youngsters that the non-wheat or lower wheat wartime bread they received 'would seem like cake to the children of Europe.'
