Folder 1: Correspondence from Philip F. D. Hibbs to Wheeler Cable, 1891. Philip F. D. Hibbs was the Sovereign Grand Commander, Grand Orient of New York, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite as organized by Joseph Cerneau. Two letters and a certificate for Wheeler Cable's election to Active Sovereign Grand Inspector General of the State of Massachusetts. Letter dated June 27, 1891 informing Cable of his election to this position; letter dated December 6, 1891 concerning purchasing the title to the Free Masons Journal. Two envelopes with written notes, "F.D. Hibbs 1891" and "Philip F. D. Hibbs 1891."
