Scope and Contents
Letter from Grand Secretary Edward Horsman to Jonathan Gage. Dated October 29, 1805. In this letter, Grand Secretary Horsman reports that the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts has "requested the attendance of the officers and members of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter as visitors at the funeral of John Cutler," a Past Grand Master of Massachusetts. Horsman directs Gage, a member of King Cyrus Chapter, to communicate this message to Newburyport's Companions. Concludes by informing Gage that the mitre ordered by his Chapter will be completed in ten days.
