Scope and Contents
Letter from Grand Secretary Edward Horsman to Angier March. Dated February 20, 1805. In this letter, Grand Secretary Horsman reports that he has annexed “three votes passed in the Grand Chapter for the Government of Companion Gilman White.” Horsman also informs King Cyrus Chapter that the Grand Chapter has voted on a loan of one hundred dollars each for St. Andrew’s and King Cyrus Chapter for the expense of regalia and clothing. The Chapter must now take a vote on the matter and inform the Grand Chapter of its decision before its next meeting. Asks King Cyrus Chapter to send their charter to have the seal of the Grand Chapter affixed and concludes by thanking King Cyrus Chapter for its help in “procuring the signatures to the Groton Charter.”
