Scope and Contents
Charles Jones' papers include three deeds and one insurance policy against fire. Two of the deeds are for land and one is for a pew in the Marshfield First Baptist Meeting House. These papers have historic meaning because they show how these types of transactions were done in the early and mid-1800's in Marshfield, including the monetary values put upon land and property.
