Scope and Contents
This series contains a photograph album which documents Abbott's Europe tour for the 1922 International Conference of Supreme Councils. On the 1922 Europe tour came several other masons including Leroy A. Goddard and his wife, Anna B. Goddard, Allen F. Treadway, Leon's wife, Florence M. Abbott, previous Sovereign Grand Commander Barton Smith, James Isaac Buchanan, and Thomas R. Marshall. The tour stopped in Scotland, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Austria, and England. The album includes various tourist attractions, historic places and numerous photos on the 1922 Oberammergau Passion Play.
