Letters discuss Masonry in the 1700s, the change in the Masonic ritual, and Christanity in Freemasonry. Carson assisted Norton with research, discusses books-manuscripts he sent Norton and Norton’s articles. Carson references Maccalla and Carson’s relationship with him and the Freemason’s Chronicle. Carson answers many research inquiries from Norton. Letters discuss collections of old Masonic manuscripts. Carson persuades Norton to ease his attacks on Masonry.
