The work of a young engraver, Joseph Henley Seymour (ca. 1769-1824), it features a spare design, the text surrounded by three columns and figures representing the virtues of hope, faith, and charity. With this particular summons, the secretary of Rising States Lodge, Benjamin Russell (1761-1845), reminded lodge member Charles More (also Moore, d. 1798), to come to the meeting at “the House of B.
