Letter dated September 5, 1923 from Blair Evans to Robert Shirrefs, returning Shirrefs copy of Robert B. Folger's "A.A.S.R. in 33 Degrees," (1862) which was lent to the U.S. Attorney for Utah during the Thomson Fraud Trial.

Letter dated April 3, 1922 from Charles M. Morris to Robert A. Shirrefs, informing Shirrefs that he would be subpoenaed to appear in court in Salt Lake City on May 4, 1922 as a witness for the government in the Thomson fraud trial. Reference is made to enclosure of a statement of the case and interrogatories with the request for preparation for the trial.

Letter dated April 11, 1922 from Charles M. Morris, U.S. Attorney, to Robert A. Shirrefs, Grand Secretary General, A.A. Scottish Rite, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, concerning prepartion for upcoming trial of Matthew Thomson. In particular, Morris requests that Shirrefs try to locate a manuscript history of the A. A. Scottish Rite by Folger which Thomson had cited in his attacks against Supreme Councils of both the Northern and Southern Masonic Jurisdictions.

Letter dated January 6, 1923 from James I. Buchanan to Robert A. Shirrefs acknowledging interest in receiving book entitled, "The Thomson Masonic Fraud."

Letter from José Oller, Grand Chancellor Secretary of Supreme Council of Panama, to Robert A. Shirrefs, Grand Secretary of Supreme Council, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, with translation and photographic copy of diploma for 32°. Oller is concerned with the Masonic legitimacy of Manuel Elentario Perez, 32°, who applied for affiliation with the Panama Scottish Rite bodies. He has enclosed a photostat of Perez's diploma for 32° issued by the United Supreme Council of America.

Letter dated May 2, 1926 from Raoul Palermi, Sovereign Grand Commander, Supreme Council of Italy, to Robert A. Sherrifs, Secretary General, Supreme Council Scottish Rite, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, in which Palermi introduces Brother Gaetano Mazzaglia, 32° who will be visiting the U.S.

Carbon copy of letter dated April 17, 1922 from Robert A. Shirrefs to Charles M. Morris, informing Morris he has contacted F. W. Hamilton, Grand Keeper of the Archives of the Masonic Temple in Boston concerning the requested history manuscript by Folger.

Carbon copy of letter dated April 15, 1922 from Robert A. Shirrefs to Frederick W. Hamilton, Grand Keeper of the Archives in Boston. Shirrefs requests that Hamilton search the archives for the manuscript history of the A.A. Scottish Rite by Folger, as referenced in previous letter from Charles Morris. See A1993/086/009

Letter from Robert A. Shirrefs to Leon M. Abbott and enclosure of copy of his response to José Oller, Grand Secretary of Supreme Council of Panama. Shirrefs confirms that the United Supreme Council of the United States is not legitimate, in the opinon of the Supreme Council, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, and is likely a Black Masonic organization.
