Abstract

This collection documents DeMolay and Masonic activity in Pennsylvania.

Scope and Contents

34 Photographs of Camp DeMolay in New Hampshire. Locations include Melun Village, New Hampshire and Black Island where the camp was established. Photos of Chester I. Campbell and Albert D. Healey. Chester I. Campbell of Wollaston, Mass. owned the Hotel Waubeek in Melun Village, N. H. and probably also Black Island where he established Camp DeMolay. Both Campbell and Healey were "Dad Advisors" of the Quincy, Mass. DeMolay.

Program includes descriptions of rooms for Blue Lodge, Royal Arch, Scottish Rite, Knights Templar, Demolay, Eastern Star, and dedications of these rooms. There are descriptions of each room with floor plans and interior views.

Scope and Contents The Ralph B. Duncan postcard collection consists of postcards with a Masonic connection, either a building used for Masonic purposes, a person connected to Freemasonry, or a subject concerning Freemasonry. Mostly made during 1907-1940s, there are some that are both earlier and later, which can be determined by changes in postcard conventions. The collection includes a membership card issued to Robert Allan Murray by the International Supreme Council Order of Demolay, Chula Vista Chapter, in 1965, two copies of a Christmas Observance program for the Asylum of Mount Tabor Commandery, No. 9, Knights Templar, in 1983, an 8x10 1983 Fall Ceremonial Class Picture with a printed page for captions; and a certificate issued by Tangier Temple of Omaha Nebraska to Robert A Murray II, in 1983.
