Gorman, Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council, 33° Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite for the United States of America, their Territories and Dependencies, October 24, 1893 with summary of 1892 overtures made to Henry Lynde Palmer (Sovereign Grand Commander Ancient and Accepted Sscottish Rite, Northern Jurisdiction) to establish mutual committees to work toward union, which Palmer and his Committee on Jurisprudence refused.
