Content Description

A Worshipful Master certificate issued by the Grand Lodge of Maine to George W. Lowell of Harmony Lodge, No. 38, in Gorham Maine. The certificate is dated January 8, 1868, and was designed and engraved by Orramel Hinckley Throop of Portland, Maine, in 1824.

Content Description

A hand-painted Fraktur drawing created by German-born artist Henry Moyer, a resident of Minden, New York. Moyer’s Fraktur records the family history of the Zuller-Moyer families and is dated February 1825. The work is decorated in red and blue hues and adorned by Masonic symbols. Moyer most likely was a follower of the artist William Murray.
